Application Deadlines:

October:
Fall Open House

November:
Early Decision application deadline: November 1
Fall Open House

December:
Early Decision applicants notified of admissions decision: December 15

January:
Regular Decision application deadline: January 15

Early Decision responses due to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions: January 15

February:
Mid-Year High School Report due
Virginia Tech General Scholarship Application deadline: February 15

March:
Priority FAFSA deadline: March 1

April:
Regular Decision applicants notified of admissions decision: April 1
Hokie Focus event for offered students

May:
Regular Decision responses due to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions: May 1

June:
Final grades/high school transcript due to the Office of Undergraduate Admission

Academic Requirements for Freshmen admission :
Candidate must complete 18 units of high-school course work
Candidate must complete 4 units of English
Candidate must complete 3 units of math (includes algebra I, geometry, and algebra II)
Candidate must complete 2 units of laboratory science (chosen from biology, chemistry or physics)
Candidate must complete 2 units of social science (one must be history)
Candidate must complete 3 additional academic units (foreign language is highly recommended)
Candidate must complete 4 elective units
SAT Reasoning Test or ACT test scores are re1quired for admission.
