The TOEFL Score requirement in admission process for F1 U.S. Visa holders under – International Students - in University of the District of Columbia (UDC) is as follows:

[B]English Proficiency [/B]

International students, who have not taken a minimum of one college-level English course at a U.S. institution, must take the TOEFL exam and request that your official results be sent to the University of the District of Columbia.

TOEFL results are used by the University to determine English proficiency as well as English level placement.

A score of 79 is required on the Internet-Based TOEFL exam to establish English proficiency.

One may also request that their IELTS results be forwarded to UDC in lieu of the TOEFL results.

SAT/ACT Requirement
Applicants to the Baccalaureate Programs are required to submit SAT or ACT scores.

Transfer Students
Course work completed in the U.S. must be submitted to the University in the form of an official transcript.

Academic Credentials
All academic work completed outside of the U.S, at the secondary or university levels must be evaluated by a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).

Immigration Documentation
Submit a photocopy of passport photo/data page, U.S. visa and I-94 card.
F1transfer students need to submit a photocopy of their most recent form I-20.

Financial Verification
Sponsors of international students need to complete and submit an Affidavit of Financial Support that indicates the sponsor's ability to support with all applicable tuition and living expenses while in the U.S.; all funds must be indicated in U.S. currency.
