Here I am giving you details about height requirements and other important details to join IFS (Indian Forest Service).

Height Requirements:

For men:
Min. height- 165cm and 5cm relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates

For women:
Min. height - 150cm and 5cm relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates


Eligibility Criteria for IFS Exam:

Nationality:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limits:
Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the following subjects:
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
Botany
Chemistry
Geology
Mathematics
Physics
Statistics and Zoology
Agriculture
Forestry
Agriculture Engineering
Forestry Engineering
