Height and Weight is significant parameter which is examined in Medical Exam at the Service Selection Boards. Candidate must have minimum acceptable limit of prescribed Height and Weight for that particular age group. If one is declared as unfit on the basis of weight then one is given 42 days time to reduce the weight and bring it down or up to the specified range. A 5 cms relaxation is given to candidates of North East Region of India, Garwahal or Kumaon or Gorkha. Candidates of Lakshwadeep are given relaxation of 2 cms in height. The weight should be within permissible limits of ±10% of the Standard Weight. The principles of average is utilized for Calculating body Weight for in between Height. Below is the table of Height and Weight for different Age Groups Other Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination:- The candidate should be 12th standard pass out with in Science with Physics and Mathematics as main subject. Age Criteria and Nationality:- The age should be 16.5 years -- 19 years, There is no upper age relaxation One should be a citizen of India. Only unmarried Male candidates are eligible to participate in NDA Examination. Female and married Male candidates are not eligible for the Examination. |
