Hi buddy will you plz tell me about TNEA Other State Quota admission Procedure , as I am from rajsthan state and want to take admission in Anna university for B.tech program ??

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by Anna University for providing admission in various engineering colleges.

As you asking I am telling TNEA Other State Quota admission Procedure of candidates will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination. The academic marks in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200 (Mathematics 100, Physics + Chemistry = 100) will be considered for Ranking.

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the well-recognized board with the minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for unreserved category), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates in PCM subjects.

The minimum required marks (in science and mathematics) is,

50 for general quota and
35 for sc/st.

These seats available for Western zone are
8 for general
2 for sc/st

Last date for registration/Filling of application form: 31th May, 2016
Last date for receipt of filled-in-online application: 4th June, 2016
Rank/Merit list publication date: 22nd June, 2016
Counselling starts for Differently abled persons : 25th June onwards
General Academic Counselling starts from: 27th June onwards
