Re: Is There Negative Marking in Elitmus

Elitmus is one of the most popular exams for job seekers across India. Elitmus helps jobs seekers to get place in top MNC companies like Accenture, MAQ Software, McAfee, CGI and other Fortune 500 companies

Yes there is Negative marking in the test. There is a differential negative marking scheme. Negative marking is applicable only if more than 25% of the questions attempted by the test taker are incorrect, after that 50% of exceeding wrong question marks will be deducted. This is applied section wise.

It consists of three sections: They are:
1. Qualitative Aptitude
2. Data Interpretation, Reasoning and Problem solving
3. Verbal ability
Each section has 20 questions.

1. Qualitative aptitude:
Probability
Permutation combination
Number System
Speed, Time and Distance
Allegation
Time or Work
Geometry Area of circle, hexagon and quadrilateral

2. Problem solving
Seating Arrangement
Tabular or Data Interpretation
Data Sufficiency problems
Crypto arithmetic

3. Verbal Ability

Jumbled paragraph question
Vocabulary

There are total 60 questions and 600 marks (each question carrying 10 marks)
