There is no negative marking in Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET Exam for incorrect or un attempted answers.

KCET Exam Pattern

KCET is an offline examination, i.e., it will be held in pen and paper mode.

The paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions

KCET will cover units from the following subjects

Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics

Subject-wise distribution of questions

Subject Total number of questions
Physics 60
Chemistry 60
Mathematics 60

Distribution of marks: The maximum marks for each paper is 60.

Marking scheme:

Each multiple choice question will carry 1 mark.

There is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted answers.

Duration:

Time allowed to complete each paper is 1 hour 20 minutes.
