| Re: Syllabus for KVPY Scholarship Exam
KVPY is the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna. It is a national fellowship/scholarship programme in Basic Sciences, conducted by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It has announced KVPY 2014 Aptitude Test to be held on November 2, 2014. Syllabus Syllabus is based on the class X/XII/First year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S as applicable. The duration of test is 3 hours (9.30 a. m. To 12.30 p. m.) The exam is multiple choice questions based for 100 marks. The paper has two parts, Part I consisting of four sections (each containing 20 questions) and Part II consisting of four sections in (each containing 10 questions) There will be choice to answer any three of the four sections in Part I, and any two of the four sections in Part II Examination Pattern KVPY examination is open for three categories of students who can sit for the exam or apply for the scholarship. KVPY – SA for students studying in class XI. KVPY – SX for students studying in class XII. KVPY – SB for first year students studying B.Sc/M.Sc/B.S/M.S and so on.
