Here I am telling you the steps for activating SMS Alert Service of State Bank of India
- Go to any of the SBI ATM.
- Insert your card in the ATM.
-Select ‘Mobile Registration’.
-Now go for ‘SMS/Mobile Registration’.
- Now a new window will appear asking you the mobile number on which you want to message the alerts.
-After confirming your mobile number if your registration is successful then a message will be shown in your transaction slip that is “Your request for registration has been accepted”.
-If your registration is not successful then try the above steps again from the starting.
If you are still not able to register then you have to visit the branch to ask what is the problem behind it.

Hello, here I am providing you the procedure by which you may register yourself on the SMS alert system of the State Bank of India as under:

SMS, ‘REG (space) account number' to 09223488888 e.g. REG 12345678901
Do this from the no. which are registered for this account in the bank
You will get the confirmation message from the bank
If it is successful, you are able to use the services of SMS by the bank

If unsuccessful:
1. Check the format and destination mobile number
2. Ensure that your mobile number is updated with the Bank for that account number by visiting the Home Branch.

Mini Statement
You may give a Missed Call or send an SMS ‘MSTMT' to 09223866666

Blocking of ATM Card

Car and Home Loan Enquiry
SMS ‘HOME' or ‘CAR' to 09223588888.

Charges
For 6 digit number i.e. 567676 premium charges will apply.
For 10 digit numbers, SMS charges will be as per your mobile bill plan.
