Lakshmi Vilas Bank SMS Alert
What charges taken by the Lakshmi Vilas Bank for the SMS Alert Service? I have opened an account in this bank recently. So I want to start the SMS alert facility in my account. So pls provide me application form to start this service on my account. Can I apply for this service online from the official website of Lakshmi Vilas Bank?

SMS BANKING is the newest service which has been started by Lakshmi Vilas Bank. Lakshmi Vilas Bank brings banking to the mobile phone. Use a mobile phone to inquire about your latest account balance, know the status of cheque book request, etc. via SMS. Any customer holding a Savings or Current account with the bank is eligible. Note: The Customers who have by now registered for SMS Alert facility with the bank have to initiate a Registration SMS request from the Mobile to LVB SMS Banking system and get registered for the SMS Request service. To register for SMS Banking and linking the default Account, send SMS to 9282441155, the format should be LVB<one space>REG<one space> Customer_id<one space>Account_ Number. Salient Features of SMS Banking are: Daily balance alerts in the daybreak. (only for Current Account holders) Alert on every debit transactions of Rs.5,000/- and above. (only for Savings Bank Account holders) Alert on every credit transactions of RS.5,000/- and Above. (only for Savings Bank Account holders) Alert on every debit transactions of Rs.10,000/- and above. ( for Current Account holders) Alert on every credit transactions of RS.10,000/- and Above. ( for Current Account holders) Over line / Temporary Overdraft Alerts are also available. Registration for Mobile Banking** Facility to modify the Default account. Account Balance particulars (account attached to the respective CIF ID) Account Activity for the Last 5 Transactions. Cheque standing enquiry Fixed Deposit information Modify Default account De-registration ** Initially the user has to submit a form for registering his mobile number with the bank, before activating the mobile banking services. |
