Hello, here I am providing you the details of the SMS Alert service charges taken by the Central Bank of India as under:

About the bank:
Central Bank of India, a government-owned bank, is one of the oldest and largest commercial banks in India. It is based in Mumbai which is the financial capital of India and capital city of state of Maharashtra.

Charges:
Bank will charge Rs.15/- (Rs. Fifteen only) for SMS alert in advance on quarterly basis

SMS enquiry:
Customers of the bank can receive SMS Alerts automatically:
When customer account is Debited / Credited for more than Rs.5000/- or as per customer request for amount greater than Rs.5000/-.
When a cheque issued by customer is dishonored for want of funds.
When the balance in customer's account becomes below the minimum balance level on account of certain debit transactions, an alert will go to customer to fund the account.
Alerts informing the customer about maturity of his fixed deposit. This alert will be sent seven days before the maturity date.

How to activate the service:
Send SMS in predefined format to 99675-33228 to avail SMS Enquiry related services
