State Bank of India has finally unleashed the notice for Clerical Cadre in the branches of SBI across India. Designation: Assistant (Clerical Cadre) Total Number of Seats: 5092 Essential Qualification: Applicants should hold the degree in any disciplines from the recognized university with respect to 31st of August, 2014. Essential Age: Applicants should have an age in between 20 years to 28 years with respect to 1st of May, 2014. Pattern: The mode of test will be online and the test covers General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Marketing & Computer and General Awareness. Exam duration will be 2 hours 15 minutes. Each section will carry 40 Marks total making 200 Marks. Pay Scale of Assistant: 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300 (under review) Important Dates: Availability of Online Registration and Payment link: 26th May, 2014 to 14th June, 2014 Availability of Offline Payment: 28th May, 2014 to 17th June, 2014 |

State Bank of India (SBI) conducts exams to recruiting the eligible candidates for the post of clerical cadre. Eligibility Nationality: candidate must be a citizen of India. Age Limit: between 20 - 28 years Relaxation of Upper age limit: SC/ST 5 OBC 3 PWD 10 Educational Qualification: Candidate should have Graduation level degree from a recognized university. Test Pattern: Quantitative Aptitude: 40 marks (40 questions) Logical Reasoning: 40 marks (40 questions) General Awareness: 40 marks (40 questions) General English: 40 marks (40 questions) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge: 40 marks (40 questions) Duration: 2 hrs. 15 mins. Exam syllabus: Quantitative Aptitude: The section will have questions based on the following topics: Simplifications, profit and loss, roots and averages, permutations and combinations and heights and distance, partnership, compound interest, simple interest, stocks and shares, clocks and algorithms, volume and surface area, mensuration, ratio and proportion, surds and indices, chain rule, time and work, percentages, allegation and mixtures. Simplifications will consist of topics such as BODMAS calculations, Square, Cube, Percentages, Square roots, Cube Roots, Averages etc. and is one of the important topics to prepare for. Logical Reasoning: The section will have questions based on verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning English Language: The section will have questions based on general English, comprehension and spelling. General Awareness: This section will consist of current affairs, Indian Constitution, History, Geography, Culture, Sports etc. Computer Awareness: This section will have questions based on Computer easy keys, Computer shortcuts, OS related concepts etc. |
