Here am giving you details to join Indian Air Force as a Pilot including career options and salary offered to Pilot. You have to join Air Force Flying Branch. For join Airforce as a Pilot you can choose one of the following: NDA Exam: One can join air force as a pilot by applying for NDA Exam conduct by UPSC after passing 12th class. Air Force Academy: The Indian Air Force Academy is one of the most prestigious training establishments of the Indian Air Force. The Academy provides training in flying and ground subjects for officers and flight cadets of the Indian Defence Forces. National Cadet Corps: Any graduate having Physics and Maths at 10+2/12th level & Senior Division Air Wing NCC ‘C Certificate can apply to the Flying Branch of the Air Force. Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry will be given a Permanent Commission in Air Force. Short Service Comission: Both male and female candidates who aged between 19 to 23 years can join air force through this format. Any graduate or BE with physics and mathematics at 12th level is eligible. Career Options for Air Force Pilot: Flying Officer Flight Lieutenant Squadron Leader Wing Commander Group Captain Air Commodore Air Vice Marshal Air Marshal Air Chief Marshal Salary of Air Force Pilot: Indian Air Force Pilots are one of the highly paid, during the training they start earning a monthly stipend of Rs.21, 000. 1 Pay in Pay Band(Common to all Branches): Rs.15,600 Per Month 2 Grade Pay: Rs.5400 PM 3 Military Service Pay: Rs.6000 PM 4 Dearness Allowances @ 35 Percent: Rs.9450 PM 5 Kit Maintenance Allowance: Rs.400 PM 6 Transport Allowance: Rs.3200 + DA (major cities)/Rs. 1600+ DA (Other cities) 7 Flying Allowance: Rs 9000 PM Total: Approximately Rs.50, 170 as the gross amount to start with. |

Hey as per my idea you can become Pilot in Indian Air Force through NDA and CDSE National Defense Academy (NDA) Qualification required To be eligible for joining NDA you should be passed/appeared 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. Age limit : Candidates should be 16-1/2 years to 19 years Nationality : Candidates should be Indian Gender : This is applicable only to men. Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE) Qualification required First Class Graduation (min 60% aggregate marks) in any discipline (Three Years Course) with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. First Class (min 60 % aggregate marks) B.E./B.Tech. (Four years). Final Year students can also apply, provided they don’t have any backlog and min 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year/ semester. Age : Candidates should be 19 years to 23 years Nationality : Candidates should be Indian Marital Status : Candidates should be Single. |
