Photo Size for SSC CGL

I have decided to give the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam and want some details related to this exam. Will you please tell me what the Photo Size required while filling SSC CGL application form also tell me Exam Pattern?

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts combined Graduate Level (CGL) competitive exam which is conducted in three stages.

The Examination can be divided into 3 tiers, which are:-

Combined Graduate Level (Preliminary) Examination (Tier-1)
Combined Graduate Level (Main) Examination (Tier-2)
Personality Test/Interview

Educational Qualification

You must have done graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years old as on 1st January 2016. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rule.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern:-

Details of PHOTO Size in SSC CGL:

Recently taken scanned photograph in 8 – bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than 12 kb and greater than 4 kb and of resolution 100 pixel widths by 120 pixels height.

Last Date of registration procedure June 2016
Examination Date (SSC CGL 2016 Tier-I) August 2016

Tier 1 syllabus: there will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions to be asked from four Sections. English , Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each section will have 50 Questions and Each Question carry 1 mark. that means 200 questions and 200 marks.

Tier 2 syllabus: tier 1 exam must pass to give tier 2 exam. this includes Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.

Note IN Tier 2 Exam: There will be 0.50 marks penalty on each wrong answer in QA section and 0.25 marks penalty on each wrong answer in English Language and Comprehension.
