IIT Delhi Lateral Entry

Hi I have completed Diploma in engineering and now I want to get admission in direct second year in B.Tech through lateral entry in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi so can you please provide me the details of admission process for it? I have to clear LEET exam for admission?

he Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is a public research university located in Delhi, India. It was declared to be Institute of National Importance by Government of India under IIT Act.

As per my knowledge you may wants to get the direct admission into the
b.tech 2nd year through lateral entry scheme. This is unfortunately not
possible in Indian Institute of Technology.

The admission procedure for IIT is as following. The candidate has to first
compelte 12th standard with PCM subjects and then apply for the entrance
exam. Till last year IIT-JEE entrance exam was conducted to offer admission into Indian Institute of Technology.

However such rule is not applied to other engineering colleges. They accept candidates through lateral entry scheme. For which you will have to appear for Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET). You must have minimum of 60 percent marks in diploma to appear for LEET.
