Size of Photo for AIPMT

Can you tell me in details about the size of the photo to be fix in All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) application form as I am very confused about it?

The All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is an annual medical entrance examination in India.

It is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges across India.

AIPMT Photo requirement
1. The photo should be in the current passport trend color of the picture.
2. The picture has to take again in the light color of the original picture.
3. The background color should be in white color.
4. The participants should be in a straight forward and have to relax the face.
5. The dimension should be 200×300 pixels only.
6. The size of the photo file should be 20kb to 50kb.

Photograph Specifications
• Candidates need to take passport size photographs with white background and one post card size photograph (4” x 6”)

• Upload scanned image of passport size photograph in JPG format in the online application. The size of the image should be between 10kb and 100kb.

• Passport size photographs should be attached on the Confirmation Page of the online application form and also for counselling/admission.

• Before affixing the photo on the confirmation page, one must write name, application form number and contact number on the back of the photograph with ball point pen only.

• Post card size photograph is collected by Center Superintendent at the AIPMT examination center.

• Photograph should not have cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if they are being used regularly.

• Polaroid or computer generated photos are not acceptable.

• The photograph should be attested by Head/Principal of the institution or by Gazetted Officer in such a way that half of the signature should appear on the photo and other half on the application form.

• Attestation should be done at the bottom of the photo.

• Photo should be attested by gum or fevicol and should not be pinned or stapled.

Uploading of Photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression and Self declaration (Self Declaration is required in the case of candidate belongs to Andhra Pradesh, J&K and Telangana).

i. The Scanned image of the Photograph of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 100Kb
ii. The Scanned image of Signature of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 3Kb to 20Kb
iii. The Scanned image of Left Hand Thumb Impression of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 3Kb to 20Kb
iv. The Scanned image of Self Declration (in the case of candidate belongs to Andhra Pradesh, J&K andTelangana) is required to be uploaded in JPG format and Image size should be between 200Kb to 300Kb.
