Kurukshetra University is a university established on 11 January 1957 in Kurukshetra in the Indian state of Haryana, 160 kilometres from the capital, Delhi. It is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities.

The Details of the Part Time Phd Course of the Kurukshetra University is given below

Eligibility Criteria
Masters Degree with 55% marks OR M.Phil. Degree with 55% marks and also having secured 55% marks in Masters Degree in the main subject (or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto)/allied subject (or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto) OR its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed, calculations of marks as per CBCS pattern)

A relaxation of 5% marks of 55% marks (2.75%) i.e. from 55% to 52.25% marks in the aforesaid Degrees is allowed for those candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Differently Abled (non-creamy layer) of Haryana.

Subject-specific: 50 Objective type questions
Duration: 1 Hour Maximum Marks: 100

Paper-II
Subject-specific: Descriptive type questions
