I am Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and want to take admission in B.Tech Course at NIT Surathkal (National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal), Mangalore so please give me details for admission including fee structure for NRI Candidates?

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Program offered by Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (MACS) of NIT (National Institute of Technology) Surathkal is a three-year (six semesters) professional Master's Degree in computer science awarded in India. The programme is inclined more toward Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications. It covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc. The admission will be on the basis of performance in the prescribed entrance examination called NIMCET (National Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Test). The NIMCET is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme. The curriculum and syllabi of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by NITs are designed considering the needs of different Information Technology firms in India and abroad. Eligibility Criteria to Appear for NIMCET Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on 10-point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum 3 years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects OR (ii) B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University are eligible to appear for NIMCE. Conversion of scored marks from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not permitted.
