NIMCET Exam Eligibility Criteria

National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test is conducted on National level by NIT for admission to their MCA programme.

Eligibility
Aspirants with minimum 60% marks (55% marks in case of SC/ST) in each of the following examinations are eligible for taking this exam
12 th level

Aspirants must have obtained Bachelor's Degree of Full Time 3 year duration from a recognized University with Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester/year in all the above mentioned courses

Aspirants who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for NIMCET subject to their fulfilling the condition at the time of admission.

Exam Pattern
The test will consist of 120 multiple choice questions bifurcated into four parts:
Computer Awareness
Mathematics
Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning
General English.
For correct answer, the Aspirants will be awarded four marks, whereas for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted.
