Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Age of aspirants should be between 19 years to 28 years as on 01-08-2014.

Educational Qualifications:
Aspirants should have passed Graduation Degree from any recognized university

Selection Process:
Selection of the aspirants will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination, PET & Interview.

Important Dates:
Submission of Application starts from: 01st April 2014.
Closing date for Submission of Online Application: 21st April 2014
Written Examination will be conduct on : 18th May 2014

Basic Eligibility:

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian Citizen.

Age Limit: Applicants minimum age is 19 years & maximum age is 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable.

Educational Qualification Required are:

Graduation or its corresponding qualification from an acknowledged university.
acquaintance of Marathi language is essential.
Final year students are also entitled to apply for MPSC PSI exam subject to the fact their final result is declared before the form submission for main exam.

Physical Standards Required are:

For Male Applicants:
Height: 165 CM (approximately)
Chest (Lower): 79 CM
Chest (Higher): 84 CM (Minimum Expansion of 5 CM)

For Female Applicants:
Height: 157 CM (approximately)

Exam Pattern:

1. Preliminary Examination Pattern:

Preliminary exam consists 100 (objective type) this exam conducted in both English and Marathi, duration 1 hour.

2. Main Examination Pattern:

Main examination consists of objective questions, Paper I consists 100 questions it carries 100 marks, this exam is also conducted in both English and Marathi, duration 1 hour, Paper II consists 100 questions it carries 100 marks and the duration 1 hour.

3. Physical Test:

Qualified applicants in the Police Sub Inspector Main Examination have to attend for Physical Test which includes Pull-Ups 40 marks, Long Jump 30 marks, Shortput 30 marks, Running (800 Meters in 02:30 minutes) 100 marks, Total 200 marks.

Height for Male: 165 cms (minimum)

Height for Female: 157 cms (minimum)

Chest (Male):
Unexpanded: 79 cms
Expanded: 84 cms
