Re: MPSC Gov Duties Responsibilities About MPSC Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a Constitutional Body established Under Article 315 of Constitution of India which provides a smooth and efficient functioning of the Government of Maharashtra by providing suitable candidates for various Government posts and advise them on various service matters like formulation of Recruitment Rules, advise on promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions etc. As you asking for the Duties and responsibility of the Assistant Commissioner (Drug) the Duties and responsibility of the Assistant Commissioner (Drug) are as follow: Duties & Responsibilities of Assistant Commissioner (Drug) are as follow : In the Head Quarters to assist the Licensing Authority & Controlling Authority, Commissioner in effective implementation of Drugs and Cosmetics Act,1940,drugs & Cosmetics Rules,1945 thereunder, Prevention of Food Adlteration, Act,1954, Drugs Magic Remedies(Objectionable Advertisement) Act,1954 Narcotics & Psychotropic Substances Act,1985 etc. In the Division office to assist the Joint Commissioner Division in effective implementation of above said Act. To head the District office. To perform the duties of Licensing Authority under Rule 59 of the Druges Rules 1945. To perform the duties of licensing authority under Narcotis & Psychotropic Substances Act,1985. To perform the duties of licensing authority under Poisons act,1919. To perform the duties of Local Health Authority under Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954. To supervise and control the work of drugs Inspectors/Food Supervisors in his juridication and see that the effective implementation of above acts is carried out. |
