Minimum percentage required for NTPC

What is the Minimum percentage required for NTPC, can you please tell me, also give me details about the selection process of it?

NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation

It is one of the best and largest PSU's in the country.

To appear the NTPC exam you should have qualification of B.E/B.TECH with minimum of 65% marks

Eligible Branches :
1. Electrical Engineering

2. Mechanical Engineering

3. Instrumentation Engineering

4. Electronics Engineering

5. Civil Engineering

6. Computer Science & Information technology

Minimum Percentage in Graduation :
General candidates : 65%
OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates : 65%
SC/ST candidates : 55%
PWD candidates : 55%

Age Requirement :
General candidates : 27 years
OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates : 30 years
SC/ST candidates : 32 years
PWD candidates : 32 years

Selection Procedure :
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score.

The final selection will be done after Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI).
