Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology KIIT University is a co-educational, autonomous university located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The University was established in 1992.

The University is having a state of the art computer network established for the purpose of imparting high level computing facility

Private cloud for students and faculties 1st in east
Aruba WI-FI Network with next-generation access management, network infrastructure and mobility application solutions for mobile enterprise networks supporting 802.11ac
Other WI-FI Access Points from Motorola, Avaya, D-link
JUNIPER Firewall with RADWARE LINK LOAD Balancer
Cloud-based Streaming Server for TV/Video

Campus Network-

All classroom and Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled

There are 17000 laptops and 3250 desktops in our network
Four ISP connectivity with 1.18Gbps internet link
10G and 1G fiber connectivity between inter-campuses
1400 Wi-fi Access Points (AP) installed across campus
Two Controller in active-active with high availability installed at central Data-center to manage these AP
For security all students and staffs assigned with individual id for university network login under KIIT domain
All Students and Staff of university assigned with Email id under university domain

Surveillance Systems-

VHF walky-talky for security staff
EPBAX with 1000 direct exchange landline
Campus is equipped with IP based wireless surveillance cameras and NVR
All hostels are equipped with CCTV cameras and DVR
Centralized control room to monitor all campuses
3128 cameras installed across campus covering 5 sq. km.
