Indian Forest Services exam is taken by the UPSC for recruiting officers for the Indian Forest Service.

IFS Exam Eligibility:

Applicants must have Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, geology, statistics, veterinary science and animal husbandry; or

Or applicants who hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, forestry, or agriculture; or

A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery

Age limit:
Minimum: 21yrs

Maximum: 30yrs

Applicants must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Indian Forest Service Examination

A candidate must be either:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
