Indian Forest Service Exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

Important Dates:
Date of Notification:- 16.05.2015

Last date for receipt of applications:- 12.06.2015 (Friday).

Date of commencement of Examination:- 23.08.2015 (Sunday).

Duration of the Exam:- 1 Day.

Indian Forest Service (Main) Exam 2015:-

Date of commencement of Examination:- 21.11.2015

Duration of the Exam:- 10 Days.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:-

A candidate must be citizen of India

Educational Qualification:-
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering

Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.

Number of Attempts:-

Applicants appearing at the Examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted six attempts at the examination.
