I have completed 12th and I want to do graduation form Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) , Thiruvananthapuram so tell me the graduation degree courses offered by this Institute? Tell me the requirements for admission in this Institute?

The important dates 2019 and other details for admission in B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering Program offered by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology are as follows: IIST Exam Dates 2019 Release of admission brochure 15th May 2019 Registration starts 3rd June 2019 Last date for registration 17th June 2019 Publication of IIST Admission Rank List 19th June 2019 Closing date for Filling-in of Branch Preferences 20th June 2019 Seat Allotment/ Acceptance rounds 21st June – 23rd July 2019 Re-validation of registration upto Round 6 3rd & 4th July 2019 Re-validation of registration upto Round 11 15th & 16th July 2019 Joining IIST 22nd to 24th July 2019 Mandatory Induction Programme at IIST 23rd – 26th July 2019 Spot Admissions, if required 27th July 2019 Commencement of Classes 29th July 2019 Eligibility for B. Tech: One must be an Indian Nationals. One must have born on or after 1st October 1994 (for general & OBC) and 1st October 1989 (for reserved categories). One should have passed 12th or equivalent exam with PCM subjects from any recognized board. In the qualifying exam, one should have obtained at least 75% (65% marks for reserved categories). One also have qualified the JEE Main & JEE Advanced examination. IIST Admission Seat Reservation IIST Admission Seat Reservation is done for the eligible candidates belonging to various categories. This relaxed criterion is as per the norms of government of India: Categories Reserved Seats (In percent) Scheduled Tribe (ST) 7.5% Scheduled Caste (SC) 15% Other Backward Caste (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) 27% Persons with Disability (PwD) 5% IIST Admission Procedure After the successful completion of counselling, IIST admission procedure will start. One need to visit the university for the process of admission. Candidates will be required to submit the fee of the applied course. In case candidates does not pay course fee within stipulated time period, then their candidature will get cancelled by the officials automatically. IIST Admission Merit List IIST Admission Merit List will be declared by online mode after the completion of registration process. Merit list will be based on the score of JEE (Advanced). |
