Firstly I want to inform you that the Vikram Sarabhai Library of IIM Ahmedabad will release vacancy notification for Library Trainee Post soon.

The last recruitment procedure was over for the same post.

Here I am giving information related to Library Trainee Post for your reference:

Library Trainee Recruitment Information:
Must have completed MLISc Course with minimum 60% marks from recognized University.

Candidates appearing in last year of MLISc Course are also eligible.

Desirable Criteria:
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
Basic working knowledge of IT and IT related applications used in libraries.

Stipend:
Rs.18,000/- per month

Note:
The selected candidates are expected to work six days a week.

Trainees may be allotted shift duty and may have to work on public holidays too.

The internship will not exceed one year.

Certificate of experience will be issued to those who complete at least six months of internship.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection test/interview

Selection will be based on written test followed by a personal interview.
