The Hawaii Pacific University has a Rugby club in campus. The Pacific Rugby Club was founded in fall 2011.

That spring, the club played in several 7's tournaments as well as a few 15 games, managing to win many of the matches.

Pacific Rugby was ended that first season with a (3-3) record in the league. The club also played two men's clubs and split those games for a (1-1) record there.
