AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is an exam conducted twice every year for selection of the eligible candidates who want to join Air Force

AFCAT written Exam pattern
Questions are of multiple choice objective types
Total 100 questions to be solved in this paper
Each question carries 3 marks
Negative marking with 1 mark deductible for each wrong answer
Duration: 2 hours

AFCAT Examination Syllabus:
General Awareness syllabus includes subjects like Current Affairs, Defence, History, Geography, Civics, Sports, Basic Science, Environment, Politics, Art, and Culture.

Verbal ability in English will examine knowledge of English with respect to Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Error Detection, Vocabulary Evaluation, and Sentence Completion.

Numerical Ability paper will cover Decimal, Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Ratio, and Proportion.

Reasoning and Military Aptitude tests verbal skills along with spatial ability.
