As you want to get the details of Common Aptitude Test for English exam pattern and the eligibility criteria so here it is for you:

Eligibility;
Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent, from any recognized state/national Board.

The candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 60% marks in the subject of English.

The candidates must have also obtained minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, in the best of four subjects

Exam Pattern:
Paper One

The part one of DU CATE test consists of multiple-choice type questions. Each question carries four options and the candidates have to find out the correct one.
There will be no negative marking in the entrance test.

Paper Two
Only those candidates, who have successfully passed the part one paper, are allowed to appear in the second part of the entrance test.
The second part consists of only descriptive/subjective type questions.

Common Admission Test is conducted by the six IIMs as a national level entrance test in selecting students for their business administration program at the Masters level.

Exam Pattern

CAT will be of two sections:

The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;

The second section will focus on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

The exam will be for 170 minutes.
