Oklahoma Healthcare Authority discontinued for the Certified Nurse Aide Training Contract Program effective June 30, 2014 so now the Oklahoma schools not offers the CAN program

Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City offers Certified Nurse Aide Training , training focuses on communicating and interacting effectively with patients.

Program duration:

Program is 96 hours .

students are required to be present for the full 96 hours of training.

72 hours of daytime classroom training

24 hours of supervised clinical training. (All clinicals are from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

Classes are Monday-Friday for 12 days, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Eligibility for the program :

Candidate must be at least 18 years of age

Candidate must obtain a TB skin test that has been read within the last 6 months
