As you are asking about the procedure for submitting RTI request in IAF so I am providing you the related procedure which will help ypou for the submission of your application. Procedure for submitting an RTI request for information to Air HQ (Vayu Bhawan), New Delhi. A citizen can request for the specific info/document required by him under Section 6 of RTI Act by an application made on plain paper addressed to CPIO/CAPIO, Air HQ (VB). Rs 10/- should be paid alongwith application, by way of DD/Banker's Cheque (not personal cheque)/Indian Postal Order payable to 'Air Force Public Funds Account, Air HQ (VB)' payable at New Delhi or Cash against receipt from Accounts Section of any Air Force Station. He should also write his correspondence details along with telephone number, if any, so that he can be contacted for payment of additional fees and providing the info without delay.
