C-DAC stands for Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. It offers post diploma courses in, Natural Language Processing, Wireless, Mobile, IT Security , VLSI, Embedded, Healthcare, Geoinformatics.

Admission Procedure:
Admissions to all PG Diploma courses of C-DACare done through C-DAC's Common Admission Test (C-CAT).
Applicants have to apply for C-CAT online .
Every year, C-CAT is usually conducted in June/July (for August admissions)
December (for February admissions).
The medium of C-CAT is English.

Graduate in Engineering or equivalent ( E.g. BE / BTech / 4 year BSc Engineering / AMIE / AIETE / AMIETE / DoEACC B Level, etc. ) in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / IT or related areas

Post Graduate in Engineering Sciences ( E.g. MCA / MSc Engineering / MSc ( CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation, etc.))

As per your need, I am giving you procedure for the admission in C-DAC courses, have a look on following details.




For admission in C-DAC applicant need to register online at official website of the CDAC.
After it applicant need to appear in the entrance exam.
Wait for the result
If you clear the entrance exam, seat in counseling
After counseling, get the CDAC center
Now you are eligble to get into the CDAC

CDAC Application Fee:

Basic C-CAT application fee: Rs 1000
Using own laptop for C-CAT: No additional charge on the basic application fee
Using C-DAC's computer for C-CAT: Additional charge of Rs 200 on the application fee
Per course additional application charge: Rs 100

e.g. For own laptop users: 1 course applied: 1000 + 100 = 1100
2 courses applied: 1000 + 100+ 100= 1200, so on.
e.g. For centre's laptop users: 1 course applied: 1000 + 200 + 100 = 1300
2 courses applied: 1000 + 200 + 100+ 100= 1400, so on.

CDAC Exam Pattern:

SECTION - A (English, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude),

SECTION - B (C Programming, Data Structures, Data Communications and Network, OOPs and Operating Systems) and

SECTION - C (Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors), each of one hour duration, having 50 questions of 3 marks each (maximum 150 marks).
