Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has earlier released the official notification regarding the recruitment of Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) in civil and electrical disciplines of telecom on the basis of valid GATE scores.

BSNL JTO is not a gazetted post now.

None of the employees in BSNL is gazetted now because in 2000 the Department of Telecom Services (DTS, which was a unit of central govt) was made a Public Sector undertaking and after that all the employees of DTS had absorbed in BSNL.

BSNL JTO Salary

The BSNL JTO pay scale is in the range of 16,400 – 40,500 with initial Basic Pay being Rs 16,400

Second Stage: Sub Divisional Engineer
Third Stage: Divisional Engineer
Fourth Stage: Deputy General Manager
Fifth Stage: General Manager
Sixth Stage: Cheif General Manager
