Indian Army divide Soldier recruitment in following stages:

Soldier General Duty
16-21 Years

Soldier Technical

Soldier Tradesman(Specified Duties)
16-25 Years


Qualification:
Candidates should pass 10+2/ Intermediate (XII) examination in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English for Post No.1,

10+2/Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate for Post No.2,

10th class pass with minimum 33% in each subject for Post No.3,

should secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in Class XII for Post No.4,

8th Class/10th Class pass for respective trades for Post No.5

Selection Process:
The Selection process consists of screening of documents and physical fitness test and physical measurement test and aptitude test.
