All India Institute of Medical Sciences conducts M.Sc/M.Biotechnology Entrance Exam to provide admission in M.Sc courses (given below) and M.Biotechnology courses.

AIIMS M.SC Biotechnology Entrance Exam Eligibility

Educational Qualification

M.Sc. Biotechnology

Candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:

MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen/OBC & 50% for SC/ST Categories)
B.V.Sc.
B. Pharmacy
Bachelor of Physio-therapy (4½ year course)
B.Sc. degree of minimum three years duration in any subject.


Candidate must secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

AIIMS PG Entrance Exam Pattern

The question paper for M.Sc./M. Biotechnology courses will be of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 90 marks in the subject in which the candidates has applied.

There shall be a uniform minimum cut-off of 50% marks (for all PG Courses) in the competitive entrance test as a condition of eligibility for all candidates.
