Combined entrance examination (CEEB) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for admission to M.Sc Biotechnology programme

Important Dates for JNU Biotech Entrance Exam

Start of Online Application process from: 07th February 2014 (10.00 a.m.)
Issue of offline Application Forms (by Post): 07th February 2014
Last date for issue of offline Application Forms (by Post): 11th March 2014
Closing of online Application Process till 05.00 p.m. on 26th March, 2014
Last date of submission of completed Application Form to reach JNU:
i) Offline Application Forms: 28th March, 2014
ii) Printed copy of online Application Form: 02nd April, 2014
Date and time of Entrance Examination: 19th May 2014 (09.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)

Combined Biotech Entrance Exam Pattern

-The question paper will be of three hours duration
-It is divided into two parts – Part A & Part B

Part-A
- It will have multiple choice type questions at the level of 10+2 in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology
- You will be required to attempt 60 questions
-Total marks for Part A will be (60 questions x 1 mark each) of 60 marks
-There will be negative marking for each wrong answer (½ half mark will be deducted)

Part-B
-It will also have multiple-choice questions
-There will be questions from Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from bachelor level
- You will be required to attempt 60 questions
-Total marks for Part-B will be 60 questions x 3 marks each = 180 marks
-There will be negative marking
