Re: AICTE Norms CGPA to Percentage Conversion

Hey as CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average , provided to students up to 10th standard in CBSE schools in India.

Norms

To convert CGPA to percentage, students have to multiply their obtained score with 9.5 to get average percentage marks.

It is not the exact percentage of marks that the students scored in 10th standard.

It is the rule established by CBSE ,not by AICTE.

AICTE stands for All India Council of Technical Education.

It is a statuary body established for promotion and planning of Technical Education in India and also to maintain and regulate norms and standard
AICTE Norms CGPA to Percentage Conversion

Subject wise indicative percentage of marks=9.5* Grade point of subject

Overall indicative percentage of marks=9.5* CGPA

Example
let the CGPA scored is " n " .

now the formula is " n * 9.5 " ie. marks in percentage

this CGPA are in CBSE 10th std. ..

so now calculate your percentage ..
