Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination for recruitment of various vacancies under Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy. Age Limit 2017 Indian Military Academy (IMA) Age: Minimum: 19 years and Maximum: 24 years Sex: Male Martial: Unmarried Indian Naval Academy (INA) Age: Minimum: 19 years and Maximum: 22 years Sex: Male Marital Status: Unmarried Air Force Academy (AFA) Age: Candidates must be 19 to 24 years. Upper age limit for candidates having valid Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years. Sex: Male Marital Status: Unmarried Officers Training Academy (OTA - SSC Course for men) Age: Candidates must be 19 to 25 years. Sex: Male Marital Status: Married or Unmarried Officers Training Academy (OTA SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Age: Candidates must be 19 to 24 years. Sex: Unmarried women and issueless widows Nationality 2017 Indian Citizen A subject of Bhutan or Nepal Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India Person of Indian origin but migrated from Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam. These candidates are only eligible if they have the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that one belonging to categories (other than India citizen) is a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will, however, not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal Educational Qualifications 2017 IMA and Officers Training Academy Degree from recognised University or equivalent Indian Naval Academy (INA) Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution Air Force Academy Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering |
