Age Limit for TET Exam

I want to give Rajasthan TET so please give information about required age limit for exam and other details including syllabus?

Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test (RTET) is the state-level entrance examination conducted to become a Level I (Primary - Class 1 to 5) and Level II (Upper Primary - Class 6 to 8) teacher.

Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:
You must have Master’s Degree with 55% marks in concerned discipline, (50% in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates)

Examination Fee:
Rs. 750/ for candidates of BC/ SBC (creamy layer) and candidates of Rajasthan and General for BC/ SBC (non creamy layer)
Rs. 450/- and for SC/ST of Rajasthan state and all PH/VH candidates
Rs. 300/- through E-Mitra Kiosk, C.S.C. Center

Selection Process:
Selections will be made on the basis of performance in Written Competitive Exam.

RTET Syllabus and Paper Pattern:
Paper I – For Class 1 to 5:

Duration: 2 & 1/2 hour

Number of questions: 150

Question Paper Pattern:
CD (Child development), PD (pedagogy) contains 30 questions with each carrying 1 mark.
Language-1 consist 30 questions, each carries 1 mark.
Language-2 consist 30 questions, each carries 1 mark.
Mathematics contains 30 questions, each carries 1 mark.
Environmental Education contains 30 questions with 1 mark each.


Paper II – For Class 6 to 8:

Duration: 2 & 1/2 hour

Number of questions: 150

Question Paper Pattern:
Child Development and pedagogy consists 30 questions with 1 mark each.
Language-1 consist 30 questions with 1 mark each.
Language-2 consist 30 questions with 1 mark each.
One can choose according to the subjects him / her applying. Each paper has 60 questions with 1 mark each.
(a) Maths & Science (For Math and Science Teacher)
(b) Social Science (For Social Science Teacher)
For any other teacher: either (a) or (b)

Sir I live in Mumbai and want to prepare for the TET Exam so can you tell em that what is the age limit for the exam

TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools.

TET exam is conducted at state level by various state boards.

Age limit:

General Male and Female – 37 years

OBC Male and Female – 40 years

EBC Male and Female – 40 years

SC/ST Male and Female – 42 years


Qualification

In order to appear in TET exam you should have to complete your graduation from a recognized university and you must have B.Ed degree

The certificate can not be more than 7 years old.

There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions.

Each paper will consist of 150 questions.

These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below.

1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.

2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.

3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear
and qualify in both the papers.
