Nit Durgapur MCA
The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (once Regional Engineering College, Durgapur), was founded by an Act of Parliament in 1960 as one of the eight such colleges aimed to function as a pace setter for engineering teaching in the nation and to foster national integration. It is a fully-funded prime Technological Institution of the Government of India and is administered by an independent Board of Governors.

Eligibility
The applicant is needed to have scored lower limit 60% marks (6.5/10 CGPA) in the examinations of class 12th and Graduation with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics as one of the subjects. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.
Admission
Applications are selected by NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Common MCA Entrance Test), a common entrance test held by NIITs for admission to MCA.
