During FPM admission process at XLRI candidate have to follow following instruction: Applicants for the FPM should: 1a. A Master's degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the Bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification with at least 60 % marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent, OR 1b. a professional qualification like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) OR 1c. BE/B.Tech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and 2 years of relevant work experience are eligible to apply. The applicant must hold a Bachelors/Masters degree of any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or possess an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. Non-fulfillment of these conditions will automatically result in cancellation of the admission. FPM candidates have to submit GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC JRF (research) results taken during the year January 2011 and December 2012. Those who have done their PGP from XLRI, any IIM, MDI Gurgaon, FMS Delhi or XIM Bhubaneswar, with a CQPI of at least 6.00/8.00 or equivalent will also be exempted from appearing in the XAT. Short listed candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview during February-March, 2013 at XLRI, Jamshedpur for the final selection.
