JIPMER Stipend

Would you please tell how much Stipend is given for PHD students at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER ) ?

Stipend to students selected for Ph.D. in any of the disciplines will be paid as per Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER ) regulations.

Stipend: for PHD students :

Monthly stipend of INR 15,000/- (for the I-Year)

INR 16,000/-(for the II-Year)

INR 18,000/- (for the III-Year) of their studies respectively.

Stipend of INR 11,000/- &INR 12,000/- will be paid for extended period of their studies for IV-Year and V-Year respectively.

Method of Selection for admission for PHD program :

Computer Based Test (CBT) / online.

Paper is common for all the Ph.D. courses.

It consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Sections :
Research Methodology,
Statistics,
Ethics of single best response type.

Duration : One and half hours.

Each answer with correct response will be given four marks.

Negative Marks will be given For every incorrect response .

Minimum of 50% marks in the Entrance Examination will be required for the candidate to be eligible for counseling.

The personal counseling carry no marks.
