What is the qualification for TNPSC group I,2,3,4?
Hi I want to know the eligibility criteria for TNPSC group I,2,3,4 exam so can you tell me?

TNPSC exam or Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission exam is the name of the exam through which recruitments to government jobs in Tamil Nadu of various vacancies in Group 1, 2, 3, 4 Services are made. TNPSC Exam Eligibility Criteria TNPSC group I- Degree from any recognized University / Institutions. Candidates who are in final year can also apply for preliminary exam but they need to produce their qualifying examination while appearing for Main Exam. Age limit: Candidates must have minimum 21 yrs and maximum 36 yrs. Relaxation will be offered to candidates. TNPSC group 2- A graduation Degree/ diploma from a government recognized institute is must for being eligible to apply for this exam. Tamil language is mandatory to be known to the contender. Age criteria - For general category – 18 to 30 years For SC/ ST/ OBC/ Widows of all caste – 18 to 35 years TNPSC group 3- Age - Should be between 18-30 years Nationality - Indian Educational Qualification - Minimum Educational qualification 60% in H.S/Graduation from any Stream. TNPSC group 4- S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. Candidates applying for Typist and Steno-Typist, Grade I should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department Age Limitation: Applicants should be between than 18 to 30 Years Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be applicable as per the govt. norms. As you are looking for the information regarding the qualification required to appear in TNPSC group 4 exam , here I am providing same for you . Applicants must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies. (a) For Typist: Applicants must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting: by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil. (b) For Steno-Typist, Grade III : Applicants Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:- by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil. Applicants who possess 12 grade shall choose Junior Grade column Age limit (Maximum) Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes ---35 "Others" [ i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ] --- 30 For the persons who are trained in Survey in ITI in Tamil Nadu, in respect of posts of Field Surveyor and Draftsman only---35 Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities., Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Muslims)---32 Selection Procedure: Selection based on Written Examination, Written Examination Pattern: Written test conducted by TNPSC consists of single paper. The type of written exam is objective type includes 200 questions clutches 300 marks. This exam is based on the topics of General Knowledge & General Tamil / General English. The minimum qualifying marks for assortment is 90. 3 hours is the time duration for the examination. |
