The syllabus and qualification required for applying to the post of Group 3 of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (APPSC) is as follows: The eligibility for APPSC Group 3 exams are Age - Should be between 18-30 years Nationality - Indian Educational Qualification – Minimum Educational qualification 60% in H.S/Graduation from any Stream SYLLABUS Paper-I: GENERAL STUDIES, MENTAL ABILITY AND LANGUAGE ABILITY. (a) Current affairs of National importance (b) History and Geography of Andhra Pradesh (c) MENTAL ABILITY (d) LANGUAGE ABILITY:- Intended to test the candidates proficiency in the use of language, ability for comprehension, summarisation, idiomatic usage, vocabulary and usage, detection of mistakes, absurdities etc. Paper-II: CONTEMPORARY PROBLEMS AND DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL SOCIETY WITH SPECIAL REFFERENCE TO ANDHRA PRADESH: 1. Problems of Rural Health and Sanitation – Village Development. 2. Social tensions and conflicts in contemporary society – Problems of deprived groups – Problems of multi-lingual society – Problems of unemployment in India – Student unrest. 3. Indian System of democracy – Democratic Institutions. 4. General Science including Scientific development relevant to rural areas, Panchayati Raj Cooperative Institutions in the service of rural areas, their role, their effectiveness and Cooperative movement in India with special reference to A.P. and Labour Saving devices. |

As you want here I am telling about Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commissions (APPSC) Group-3 (Panchayat Secretary) Exam Syllabus and Qualification info: Syllabus : Screening Test: (150 Questions 150 Marks) Part A - General Studies & Mental ability (75 Questions 75 Marks) 1. Events of national and international importance. 2. Current affairs- international, national and regional. 3. General Science and it applications to the day to day life Contemporary developments in Science & Technology and information Technology. 4. Social- economic and political history of modern India with emphasis on Andhra Pradesh. 5. Indian polity and governance: constitutional issues, public policy, reforms and e-governance initiatives with specific reference to Andhra Pradesh. 6. Economic development in India since independence with emphasis on Andhra Pradesh. 7. Physical geography of Indian sub-continent and Andhra Pradesh. 8. Disaster management: vulnerability profile, prevention and mitigation strategies, Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in the assessment of Disaster. 9. Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection. 10. Logical reasoning, analytical ability and data interpretation. 11. Data Analysis: a) Tabulation of data b) Visual representation of data c) Basic data analysis (Summary Statistics such as mean, median, mode, variance and coefficient of variation) and Interpretation 12.
