As you asking I am telling the post of JAG (Judge Advocate General ) in India is held by a major general who is the legal and judicial chief of the Army.

The Indian Army has a separate JAG (Judge Advocate General ) branch which consists of legally qualified army officers.

21 to 27 years

Pay & Allowances
All GCs/LCs will be given a stipend of ₹ 21,000/- p.m. On completion of training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.

Eligibility
Applicants must minimum 55% aggregate Marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination).

Applicants should be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.
