West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts Joint Entrance Examination (EVETS) for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) in faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science under West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: Candidate must be a Citizen of India and domicile of West Bengal. Age Limit: Candidate must have attained 17 years of age. There is no upper age limit. Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed H.S. (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular along with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the said qualifying examination (10+2). For SC and ST candidates the aforesaid percentage of marks will be 40% instead of 50%. EVETS Pattern:- Paper I: Biological Sciences (100 marks) Paper ll: Physics & Chemistry (100 marks). Each paper will contain hundred (100) one (1) mark questions based on Higher Secondary syllabus of WBCHSE. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. |
