Veer Narmad South Gujarat University was founded in 1965, it is a public university and it offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including non-traditional postgraduate departments such as public administration, rural studies, comparative literature and aquatic biology.

Bachelor of Computer Application:
The basic objective of the program is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career.
