VIT University is a deemed University was founded in 1984. It is located both at Vellore and Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. VIT offers 20 undergraduate, 34 postgraduate, 4 integrated and 4 research programs.

Vellore Institute of Technology conduct entrance test VITEEE for admission in B.Tech Course.

Important dates For VITEEE Exam 2015

Application form for VITEEE 2015 to be available from: December 2014 (first week)
The Online VITEEE entrance test will conduct on 8th April, 2015 to 19th April, 2015.
VITEEE 2015 Last date for Issue / Receipt of Application Form: March, 2015.
VITEEE 2015 Result Date: May, 2015

Eligibility
The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE, New Delhi ), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination ( ISCE, New Delhi ).

Intermediate or Two – year Pre – University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University.

High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
General Certificate Education ( GCE ) examination ( London / Cambridge / Srilanka ) at the Advanced (A) level.

Age Criteria:
Candidates must be born on or after 1 July 1992 to be eligible.

Entrance test Pattern:
The total number of questions will be 160 divided into four sections with 40 questions each for one mark.
The duration of VITEEE 2014 is 2.5 hours.
