What is the Admission Dates of IIT-JEE exam and the eligibility criteria for this?

Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) is one of the most prestigious test taken to get admission in engineering colleges in India.

Eligibility Criteria-

12th by any recognized Central/State Board.

Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.

Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy.

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.

Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system.

H.S.C. Vocational Examination.

Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

3 or 4-year Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

IIT-JEE Exam Dates-

IIT-JEE test is usually conducted in first week of May.

IIT-JEE fee-

A candidate can buy an application form with information brochure from any one of the designated ranches of banks by paying Rs.500 for SC/ST/PD/Female candidates (Yellow Colour envelope) or Rs.1000 for all other candidates (White Colour envelope).

Number of attempts –

You can appear in JEE Main exam only three times.

IIT-JEE Exam Pattern-

Main Exam-

There will be two IIT JEE Exam Papers, each of three hours duration consisting of three separate sections on Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

Questions in these papers will be of objective type.

Candidates can opt for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.
